On Monday the senior couples got to have a very fun P-Day. We went to Pagsanjan and traveled up the river to Pagsanjan Falls. They push, pull and paddle you in a canoe and these boat men are very small people, about 30 mins into the trip our boat man turned around and said that we were very big and he was going to die, I can't believe he said that but they do tell you the truth, I guess it is diet time. After about an hour we arrived at the falls. We then got on a bamboo raft and were pulled through the waterfall and needless to say you get very very wet and get a great back, head and shoulder massage. On the way up we saw people that live along the river, they are called river people. After the trip through the falls and a slow trip back to our starting place we saw monkey's (look close in the one picture) and
butterfly's all along the way.
This had to be one of they most beautiful places we have been to, with it's high canyon walls and beautiful hanging plants and trees and the weather was just perfect.
This was a fun and relaxing day for all of us. Maybe President Mortimer knew we needed this so we could get through the next 3 days of Zone Conferences and sitting for about 7 hours, but the work shops are very good. The couples include Elder and Sister Ganir and Elder and Sister Ralphs.

I love the picture of the waterfall from inside the cave. Light encapsulated by water... its inspiring.
Hi, We are the Kimberlin's, serving in the Olongapo Mission, north of you. The Cox's gave us your blog last year before we came out in July. That looks like such a fun p-day !! We have loved watching your blog.
Thanks
you call this missionary work!?! Seems like a fun way to spend a p-day!
Wow... seeing the kids playing in the river, we worry about our kids playing too close to the street. I remember getting grounded for swimming in the canal when I younger. At least I was wearing a swimsuit and not just my birthday suit!
